RSS-150 Sealer QUESTION ??

Postby CoyoteOn2 » Mon Feb 22, 2010 1:18 am

Coyote here ~~ I have a question in regards to your Refinish Solutions RSS-150 Ready to Spray Sealer Grey.
I will be useing this for the first time around the 2nd week of March, Temps permitting that is. My local Jobber
(here in Vegas) was able to provide me with the Technical Data Sheet for this product, but was unable to locate,
or provide an MSDS Sheet, or any information related.
If you can provide / email, any information that would be a very big help. I tend to lean towards being on the
SAFE SIDE when working with Products for the first time. It's always good and a safe practice to have a plan,
and to have a plan, one must know what one is up against.
I AM a registered Member, and the email address is on file. I will also be checking this forum from time to time,
and if you can HELP with one, or information on how I can obtain one, I would be Grateful.
Thank-You in Advance ~~~
Coyote, (some call me the Dog)
But hey, it's all good ~~~~~ Keep Layen it DOWN !!!

ALSO~~~~ What would be the MAX Window time for applying the Base Color Coat before the Sealer would have
to be scuffed or another coat applied prior to the Color Coat??

Coyote,

I'll email the TECH Data Sheet, along with the MSDS. In the future, you can find the requested information on our Web-Site, "www.matrixsystem.com".

To answer your question regarding recoat time, it's a good idea to recoat within 6 hours. Of course application and weather can increase or reduce recoat times, you'll loose chemical adhesion after about six hours.
