Our Company
We are the largest manufacturer and distributor of automotive refinish paint products in the country, outside of the major national paint companies. We estimate our products are used in more than 5,000 body shops on more than one million cars per year. Since 1983 our facilities have expanded to over 85,000 square feet, with high capacity automated mixing and filling equipment. With a complete research, development, and quality control lab, our products have proven to be exceptional in performance, durability, and application in thousands of shops across the country.

Matrix Intermix Paint System
Matrix provides a complete Intermix paint system and comparable toner line for both basecoat and single-stage application. Our 87 toners, 14 pearls and 7 Xirallics form the Matrix Intermix System can be used to replace the entire single-stage DAU^® toner line that is being discontinued by PPG^®. Our system will allow you to continue mixing single-stage and basecoats from one mixing system.  This alone will reduce the cost of both single-stage basecoat since they both can be mixed from one mixing bank! Additionally, our single-stage formulas and hardener make a 5.0 VOC compliant product.

Primers, Clearcoats, Hardeners, Reducers, and More
The performance and quality of our products is the principle reason we have grown so quickly over the last 10 years. Matrix customers have been using these products in their shops for years replacing major brand products. They have found our performance, quality, durability and warranty are comparable or better than the major brand products they used to purchase at a price savings of 20-50%.

Formulas
Matrix has developed a library of formulas covering model years from 1985 to present. We also have many formulas available prior to 1985 through our painter's hotline. The formulas include foreign and domestic cars, trucks and fleet colors plus stripe, accent and variance colors.

Pricing
Prices for our Matrix Intermix Paint System Toners are based on a shop list price of 20-50% off PPG^® current list price. We have built an attractive pricing structure for our refinish customer which will for the first time, allow them to increase profit margins by significantly reducing their paint material costs.

Product Development
Over the past five years, thousands of hours have been spent in our labs perfecting our Matrix Intermix Paint System and comparable toners. Using the technical expertise of our skilled chemists, the resources of many of the world's largest and most technically advanced raw material suppliers, and a well-equipped research and development laboratory, we have successfully developed our complete line of Matrix System Intermix Toners to exacting specifications.

Color Match Product Specifications
Through careful analysis of the weight per gallon, pigment type, strength, viscosity, and many other important product characteristics, we have developed exacting product and production specifications for each of our Matrix System Toners. We are confident that you will be amazed at the color accuracy, consistency, and performance when using Matrix System Toners.

Product Testing
Extensive product testing has been performed in our laboratory and in body shops over three years, with thousands of single-stage and basecoat colors. These laboratory tests include color accuracy utilizing a state of the art color computer, QUV testing for color stability and long term performance, adhesion testing, dry times, compatibility, spray ability, solvent resistance, and many others. Our field test also showed excellent results of both Matrix System Toners by themselves and in combinations of Matrix and PPG^® toners.

Product Warranty

Our ultimate target markets are body shops, industrial, and other refinish accounts throughout the world. Those using PPG^® or DuPont^® toners or premixed colors are the initial focus.
